The Venus Viva Diamond Polar treatment use a non-surgical radio frequency, pulsed
electromagnetic device designed to be used for Body contouring via cellulite reduction, tightening
of the skin and for softening of wrinkles, leaving the skin more plump and youthful.
It produces a uniform heat (energy) targeted at the tissue under the skin surface, designed to
damage the existing collagen, thus stimulating the body’s healing response. Once the collagen has
been damaged, the body begins to repair the skin by replacing the damaged tissue with new
collagen. The radio frequency also stimulates the body to produce new fibroblasts that create
collagen, thus increasing the amount of collagen in the tissue.
This wound healing response creates a smoother appearance to the skin, plumps up the fine lines
and wrinkles and treats acne. Pulsed electromagnetic fields increase the vascularity of the skin and
creates new pathways for the blood to flow. This increase in blood will provide more oxygen to the
skin and bring more nutrients to the tissue. A fresher, more youthful glow is common after
treatments.

With client permission, before and after photos will be taken to establish a starting point for visual improvement tracking. The treatment area will be cleansed, followed by the application of a glycerine gel. A baseline temperature will be established based on client comfort, and then the Diamond Polar handpiece will be moved across the treatment area in random movements at a slow and steady pace for the required duration. Afterward, the glycerine gel will be removed with a cloth.

FREQUENCY OF TREATMENTS: For the face/neck, one treatment per week for 6 weeks is recommended, while for the body, one treatment per week for 8 weeks is advised. Maintenance treatments can be done once a month if desired, or once a season as recommended.

POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS: The healing time and experience may vary for each client. Swelling, discomfort, and redness may occur initially, but should subside. Mild redness and heat from the treated area are normal and do not require ice or cooling packs. Moisturizer can be applied regularly throughout the treatment series, and makeup can be applied immediately after each treatment, but should be removed at night. It is important to avoid direct sun exposure and use broad-spectrum SPF 30-50+ sunscreen regardless of the season. Long-term skin care products and an active lifestyle are recommended to enhance and maintain the results of the treatments.
